My Beloved English Department
I
am studying in English Department of Semarang State University. English
Department is placed in B3 building. It is quite large with a park in front of
the building. It has three floors. On the first floor, there are office room,
three lecturer rooms, and two toilets. Then, on the second floor, we can find
two laboratories, four classrooms, prayer room, and toilets. On the top floor,
there are four classrooms and a library. In every classroom, we can find an air
conditioner and LCD. The classroom is not only clean but also comfortable to
use. I am so fascinated to be there.
I think this is perfect. I can't find any mistake in this text. Maybe other people below me can find it. I mean the next commentator will find it.
BalasHapusI think your writing about the English Department is good, but I have correction for you. In my opinion, you only mentioned and described English Department physically. You did not describe about the students, the lecturers, the study programs, or extracurricular maybe. Because the readers will be curious about the English Department more, and maybe they will be disappointed when they read you’re writing only the simple way like you wrote. But, I really appreciate your good writing. Thanks :D

BalasHapusHowever, in the fifth sentence you wrote “… there are office room…”, it should be use an article before the word ‘office’. It will be “… there are an office room…”
It is a great writing Amaliah. You described the physical of B3 building perfectly. However, in the fourth sentense you wrote “lecturer rooms” is more effective if you used “lecturers’ rooms” because there are more than one lecturer use the room as their office or we called plural word.
